At P&D Deadman Automobile Engineers, our story is one of family, tradition, and a love for all things automotive.
It all began on 16th March 1962, when Peter and Douglas Deadman opened the doors to a small, independent garage in Farnham. Back then, the world was a different place—but one thing hasn’t changed: our commitment to honest, reliable, and down-to-earth vehicle care.
What started as a father-and-son venture has grown into a third-generation, husband-and-wife-run garage, still proudly independent and rooted in the values we were built on. Today, we continue that legacy with the same dedication and hands-on approach that our customers have come to know and trust.

What makes us truly special? Aside from our reputation for quality service, we’re proud to operate from a beautifully refurbished chapel in Farnham. Our workshop blends the character and charm of this historic space with the tools and technology of a modern garage. It’s a place where craftsmanship meets care, and where our family history feels very much alive.
From Then to Now
Over the past 60+ years, we’ve built long-standing relationships with drivers from Farnham, Aldershot and the surrounding villages. Many of our customers have stayed with us across generations—and we’ve had the honour of servicing their parents’ and even grandparents’ vehicles.
